There are many people of faith walking the earth and many religions stress purity before marriage and monogamy in marriage, unfortunately the STD & HIV rates in this country continue to rise, especially in the Black community. STDs have reached epidemic proportions. It's time for our religious leaders to acknowledge the elephant in the room and discuss sex, sexuality & STDs. Well this discussion is set to occur this Saturday June 11th from 8:30am to 2pm at First District Plaza, 3801 Market Street. Some of the workshops include Youth,Sexuality & Religion, Developing an AIDS Ministry, Faith, Sex & Sexuality and Current Trends in the HIV Epidemic.
