There is this awesome performance space in University City that's home to several performing arts companies, dance classes and great rental space. The Community Education Center (CEC for short) is in need of community support. They are currently enrolled in a competition through Maxwell House where the grand prize is a $50,000 building make-over. This center has been a saving grace for so many artists and deserves to upgrade its look and functionality. Please support their efforts by visiting the Maxwell House website and cast your vote. - Scroll across the "Meet the Houses," the small pictures that represent each of the 10 groups in the challenge. Click on Community Education Center which is toward the middle.
- Click on "Vote." You will be asked to enter your email address, then just cast and confirm your vote! (Don't worry your email address will not be used for any other purpose!)
You are allowed to vote once a day through midnight June 17th!
There are only 10 centers across the country in the contest, CEC is the only one in PA.
