Earn-A-Bike Program and Auditions for Rent for Youth

Good day friends. Here are two opportunities for the youth in our community. Please make note and share this information with your friends. We are the village, let's help our children!

Neighborhood Bike Works is recruiting for their fall youth program – the Earn-a-Bike classes teach bike repair and safety in 16 after-school lessons. After meeting training and graduation requirements, participants earn a bike of their choice that they refurbish, with a helmet and lock. For more information, call 215 368 0316 or visit www.neighborhoodbikeworks.org.

The Rotunda on Walnut and 40th Sts.  is holding open auditions for youth ages 14-21 for their production of the musical Rent. Auditions are Sept. 10-11 from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and Sept. 17 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Youth auditioning must be in high school, home school, alternative school, or GED program. Young adults in special education programs up to 21 years old can also audition. For more information, contact 215 260 1290 or email projecttheaterproject@gmail.com.
