Jazz and the Sunset

Tonight is the first night for the summer concert series at The Dell East, an outdoor ampitheater in Fairmount park. Najee is on stage and he's providing the most wonderful backdrop for the setting sun.

Philly has been without a smooth Jazz or 24 hour Jazz station for five or more years. I have to say I truly miss that. Jazz can provide an amazing soundtrack for nature! Just think, driving down West River Drive (now MLK Drive) playing George Benson's Breezin or sitting by your window on a rainy Saturday afternoon listening to Miles Davis So What. Jazz and life go great together. I just wanted to take a moment to appreciate the music and the sunset. Take a moment to do the same, just be present in the moment and thankful for everything!

    Music is an inspiration for so many things. Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy this moment in history. Najee is great... And Nancy Wilson is a living legend. This is music appreciation at it's best!
